It’s finally here! After more than a year waiting for the fourth season of Emily in Paris countdown is over. Netflix has already released the new episodes of this last installment, which will be divided into two parts (the next one will be released on September 12), and as we imagined, it has had a grand premiere. Its protagonists went to the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood to celebrate that the new adventures of their characters continue and although all the actresses dazzled on the red carpet, Lily Collins was, once again, the star.
Not only because of her styling, a brilliant and very successful corseted dress by Armani Privé for his Fall/Winter 2023 Haute Couture collection, but also because of her choice of makeup. The actress knew how to read very well what the outfit required of her and since the garment was striking in itself, I had to bet on a beauty look simpler.

To do this, Lily Collins turned to her regular makeup artist, Fiona Styles, who opted for a natural makeup look without using any excessive products. Simply, highlighted the actress’s most characteristic feature, her eyebrows. These are a fundamental element in any face and leaving them to chance can be a complete mistake that does not flatter at all. In the case of Collins, who has wide bangs, combing them becomes a simple and fundamental gesture.
Thus, even though the protagonist of Emily in Paris You can boast full eyebrows, but for them to be in harmony with the rest of your makeup, they must be very well defined. For this reason, Fiona Styles used Merit’s 1900 microfine gel pencil, which not only filled in those hairless spaces that we all have, but also defined her eyebrows, giving them a soft and natural look.

Cara Delevingne, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Connelly and also Lily Collins. The list of celebrities The trend that enhances their natural eyebrows with makeup is becoming more and more widespread, leaving behind that (fortunately) frustrated attempt to return to the nineties trend that bet on over-plucking them and which years later we swore not to fall into again. The positive part is that once the lesson of How much can a person ruin? beauty look poorly defined eyebrows and too thin, the beauty industry has gone to work to perfect all the possible techniques so that you can show them off.

How to achieve perfect eyebrows
- Laminate: semi-permanent styling of your own eyebrows that provides a natural look and makes your eyebrows look higher, more shaped and even wider.
- Eyebrow powder or microshading: semi-permanent micropigmentation that fills in the sparser spaces in your eyebrows with ink in a shade that matches your skin tone.
- Microblading:semi-permanent micropigmentation technique to modify the design, add density or even recreate your eyebrows from scratch.
If you are lucky enough to have thick lashes and all you need is to define them a little and fill in the areas where you have less hair, makeup will be your best ally. Use a pencil like Lily Collins’ and ‘create hairs’ in those parts. Then, use the brush to remove excess product and to make them look well combed. If, in addition to this, your lashes are a bit unruly, you can always use a setting gel.
