Kerala rain warning | Chance of heavy rain in the state! Orange Yellow Warnings in various areas

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has announced that heavy rain will continue in the state in the coming days. An orange and yellow alert has been announced in several areas. Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam districts are on orange alert today. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kozhikode districts are under yellow alert today. The low pressure trough lies at a height of 1.5 km over Kerala and Tamil Nadu from Chakravatchuzhi to Kumarin district. As a result, moderate/moderate rain with widespread thunder/lightning is likely over Kerala for the next 5 days.
