“Emily in Paris” is back with the first episodes of its fourth season on Netflix. The series, which follows the life of Emily Cooper, a young American publicist, promises more drama, fashion and unforgettable moments.
Created by Darren Star, Emily’s Life continues to be a success since its premiere in 2020, and in this new installment, the protagonist, played by Lily Collins, faces even greater challenges, both in her professional and personal life.
This new ten-episode season has generated great expectations since the end of the third season, which aired in December 2022.

The cast for this season continues with Lily Collins at the helm, joined by Lucas Bravo as Gabriel; Ashley Park as Mindy; Lucien Laviscount as Alfie; Camille Razat as Camille; William Abadie as Antoine; Paul Forman as Nicola de Leon and Philippine Leroy Beaulieu as Sylvie.
The previous installments introduced us to Emily, a young woman who moves from the US to Paris for work reasons; however, her dream life becomes complicated when she finds herself in the middle of a complicated love triangle. On one hand, an attractive chef named Gabriel, with whom she is also in love, and on the other, Alfie, her British ex-boyfriend.
The previous season ends with Gabriel’s confession of love for Emily, something that would be extremely romantic, if it weren’t for the fact that the man was about to marry Camille, his long-time girlfriend who is pregnant.
Emily’s life then takes a brutal turn. Her boyfriend breaks up with her and she faces a new stage of being single in the City of Love. But, like everything in our protagonist’s life, drama is quick to appear, and Alfie and Gabriel will continue to be part of her life and a couple of secrets threaten to tear her life apart.
For the first time, this fourth season will be split into two parts, each consisting of five episodes. The first part premiered in the early hours of Thursday; but fans will have to wait until September 12, 2024 to see how the rest of the story unfolds.
