Everyone knows about computer games, but what skills do you need to create one? Developing your own idea, building a structure from it, then implementing it in the program and finally testing it – that’s software engineering. With Scratch 2, you can design your own computer game in a morning. If you then want to continue programming, that’s no problem: Scratch 2 can also be used at home for free!

The workshop, in collaboration with the city library, is being run by the Zukunft MINT project house. An initiative of the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover. The project house is proactively committed to equal opportunities. Everyone should be given the chance to discover MINT for themselves, regardless of what others say. That’s why we have workshops for everyone: girls and boys, all types of schools and from first grade onwards. In our eyes, early MINT education is a social responsibility.
