A fire has now broken out in Kalyvia Thorikou, Attica. The burning spot is in the Profarta area, in low vegetation.
The Fire Department was immediately alerted and ground and air forces were mobilized, where they rushed to assist in the extinguishing operation. According to information, there are 54 firefighters, 2 infantry units with 14 vehicles. 5 helicopters and 1 aircraft make airdrops.
The fire appeared on the mountain in scattered fronts.

It is recalled that the authorities are on standby, as there are still active outbreaks in the Attica basin, after the fire that broke out at noon on Sunday in Varnava. A strong battle is being fought by the Fire Department to prevent rekindling.
