– When is the quiz coming back?
“Who’s stealing my show?” will once again light up television screens with its sixth season. In this game show, a musician, a comedian and a podcaster will challenge Joko Winterscheidt (45) in six new episodes, in the hope of stealing the spotlight from him. ProSieben has announced the broadcast date of the new season.
Musician Nina Chuba (25), host Kurt Krömer (49) and podcaster and host Tommi Schmitt (35) will have to prove themselves in quiz rounds from September 8 (every Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben, one week before on Joyn). Only then will they have a chance to steal Winterscheidt’s hosting role and present the respective episode. In “Who’s stealing my show?”, a viewer with a wildcard also has the chance to overtake the celebrities and secure the host spot on the ProSieben show. Joko Winterscheidt said in a statement: “I am looking forward to seeing the quiz canon in the form of Nina Chuba, Kurt Krömer and Tommi Schmitt. It’s always nice to see a few quiz fans trying to watch a full-time genius like me at work.”
Comedian and host Kurt Krömer (49) gained his popularity through his own TV shows such as “Krömer – Late Night Show” and “Chez Krömer”, as well as the Amazon comedy “LOL: Last One Laughing”. Nina Chuba had her breakthrough with the hit “Wildberry Lillet” and released her first studio album “Glas” in 2023, containing tracks such as “Mangos mit Chili”, “Glatteis” and “Ich hass dich”. Tommi Schmitt has two successful podcasts, “Gemischtes Hack” (with Felix Lobrecht) and “Copa TS”, and is also a host on shows such as “Neo Ragazzi”.
“Who’s Stealing My Show?”: The Path to Your Own Show
In eight quiz categories and three victory stages, the candidates, including three celebrities and one wildcard candidate, compete to reach the final. After each victory stage, one candidate must leave. At the end, Joko Winterscheidt will face the remaining person in a direct duel, and if he loses, he will lose his show for the final quiz hosted by Katrin Bauerfeind (42).
The winner will then have the opportunity to present “Who’s stealing my show?” in the next episode according to his own ideas. Winterscheidt will switch sides and try to get his show back. In the final episode, the winner can choose to have his own cover on a puzzle magazine or leave his mark on the “Walk of Brain” with a forehead print.
The celebrities and the wildcard contestant will be tested in the Court of Justice of the quiz categories, ensuring that only the most Knowledgeux advances. The ultimate goal of each contestant is to steal the host role from Winterscheidt, a decision that can be made by the Court of Justice at the end of the season.
