Investments in sustainability

Bank EKI customers with a valid building energy certificate from the cantons (GEAK) of class AD or a Minergie certificate benefit from an interest reduction of 0.05 to 0.10 percent when taking out a new mortgage or extending their mortgage. Bank EKI is also currently examining various projects in connection with the GEAK+. For example, clarifications are underway regarding the renewal of heating and cooling generation, as well as the installation of photovoltaics on the roof of the headquarters in Interlaken. In addition, a car-sharing vehicle has been available to the population since this spring. The idea of eDrive reflects the cooperative spirit of the bank.

Successful insurance division soon in modern premises

The planned energy-related optimizations at the headquarters and the very positive growth in the insurance sector have prompted those responsible to modernize the insurance office at Rosenstrasse 3 accordingly. Armin Häsler, Head of Insurance, and his team are looking forward to welcoming the numerous customers towards the end of the year in an inviting atmosphere.
