Qatar Airways will now serve caviar to passengers in its Qsuite Business from August 15th.
While caviar is usually only found in the first class of major airlines, it is now being offered for the first time in business class, where smoked salmon as a starter is usually the norm.
The luxurious service will initially be available on 13 routes between Doha and on 13 routes between Doha and Boston, Dallas, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Paris, São Paulo, Singapore, Sydney and Washington.
The award-winning Qsuite has long been considered a highlight of business class travel among frequent flyers. The luxurious new addition further consolidates its excellent service and gives the product a first-class flair.
Qatar Airways is offering the new Qsuite service with Siberian caviar as a standalone starter or as part of the in-flight meals. Don’t worry, Qatar’s popular Arabic mezze will still be there. Passengers can look forward to all the traditional caviar garnishes, including crème fraîche, chopped chives and onions, and crumbled hard-boiled egg. Blinis and Melba toast are also served.

“Qatar Airways is proud to offer the best premium business class travel experience,” said Xia Cai, senior vice president of product development and design at Qatar Airways, in a statement. “The introduction of the Caviar service, normally only available in First Class cabins, further enhances Qatar Airways’ award-winning business class experience.”
Qatar Airways has been named World’s Best Airline eight times at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. Launched in 2017, the revolutionary Qsuite was the first suite-style business class cabin, featuring lockable doors and generous space, including fully flat double beds and configurations large enough for a family of four or friends travelling together.
Last month, the airline unveiled its latest Qsuite revamp at the Farnborough International Airshow near London.
Qatar Airways flies to over 170 destinations worldwide via its hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha. Qatar Qsuite is available on many of its key routes, served by select Qatar Airways Boeing 777-200LRs, Boeing 777-300ERs, Airbus A350-900s and all Airbus A350-1000s.
You can book the popular Qsuite from Qatar Airways with miles and points, e.g. through the Qatar Airways Privilege Club or with Avios or the currencies of its Oneworld partners, including British Airways Executive Club and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles.
