News 112: Roof fire at Montessori in the City • Witnesses to Appingedam car fire wanted

A fire broke out when there was work on the roof at the Montessori vocational school on the Van Iddekingeweg in Stad.

“The people put out most of the fire themselves at first,” a fire brigade spokesman said. ‘However, the signal to the fire marshal has not yet been given. We are first looking for what else could be burning.’

This is done using, among other things, a chainsaw, as seen by the 112 photographers who were present. Large pieces of smoke insulation material are removed by firefighters.
