Pop music. The hottest domestic pop music show of the summer is here – on Saturday 17th August, Dagava Don plays at the stadium. This year at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, he took 16th place, but for his Latvian fans, Don is number one. The musician has just released his ninth studio album Hourand time is the thematic leitmotif of his performance. “It took me a while to get from the dream of the first song to the stadium concert,” says Don. “There will be amazing guests, there will be new songs, there will be works from the beginning of my career. This is the biggest I’ve ever been in a solo concert. Of course, there is joy, but I am delighted. and grateful for the opportunity to play my music to so many listeners, I promise this will be a special evening for all of us,” said the artist.

Today and tomorrow, August 15 and 16, in the cultural space Hansa Platform French electronic composer and multimedia artist Franck Vigru’s electro opera (1973) will be performed The waterfalls/Kuiten. It is both an exhibition, a performance, and an audio-visual installation. In his works, Frank Vigru, who is also a guitarist and a reporter, combines new media and different forms of performance art. His spectrum is very wide – from electro-acoustic music to avant-garde rock.
