With the Krefeld House of Education, which combines early childhood education and primary school education under the roof of a shared family center, the necessary framework conditions for joint transition-oriented education and upbringing concepts and a continuous education and upbringing partnership with parents are being systematically created for the first time in Krefeld. The House of Education offers children a continuous care offer for children from 3 months up to the end of primary school, because the House of Education consists of a child day care center, a 6-group day care facility and a 3-stream open all-day primary school.
We offer you a great team and your own creative freedom. You will also receive professional training and subsequent professional support in your day-to-day work. You can expand your professional knowledge through regular exchanges with other educational staff and department-specific support on topics such as child protection, inclusion, family centers, education and language support, and quality assurance. If you wish, you also have the opportunity to take part in supervision or various coaching sessions.

Your profile
- a university degree from a diploma/bachelor/master’s degree program in social pedagogy/social work, each with state recognition
- a completed degree in early childhood education with a focus on parent education/parent counseling with – if provided for under the respective state law – state recognition
- a university degree in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Education
- At least three years of professional experience in the context of childcare/family center, as well as several years of management experience
- Flexibility, commitment and solution orientation
- Technically sound, extensive and in-depth knowledge of the Child Education Act (KiBiz), the NRW School Act, the NRW Family Centre Quality Seal, the legal basis for open all-day care in NRW, the specialist texts of the state youth welfare offices and the NRW state project on family centres at primary schools, SGB VIII and in particular the reporting obligations according to §8a and §47 SGB VIII and the BTHG (Federal Participation Act)
- Experience in dealing with transitions in the educational biography of children
- Confident demeanor, strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the necessary assertiveness
- appreciative attitude towards families, colleagues and other interfaces

Your tasks
- joint management of the House of Education and joint technical supervision with the school management of the staff in the open all-day school and the systemic school support
- Service and professional supervision of the staff of the day care facility as well as the joint day care-primary school family centre, the child day care centre and the school social work
- Loyal cooperation with the wearer
- Ensuring the implementation of the quality framework of the city of Krefeld in the multi-professional, cross-task cooperation of the actors in the House of Education, as well as ensuring and implementing an appreciative educational partnership with the families
- Development and assurance of inclusive educational work
- Network work, in particular coordination and cooperation with primary schools, other day care facilities and family centres, child day care centres and institutions in the district
- Ensuring a needs-based offer in the joint family centre of the day care centre and primary school for the families in the social area
- Ensuring continuous evaluation of the transition from daycare to primary school
