“I never really felt loved and his lies were constant”

The confrontation between Frank Cuesta and his ex-wife Yuyee Alissa Intusmith continues to make headlines. Following the already well-known controversy over the sanctuary, the Thai actress and singer has decided to give her first statements.

“What I’m doing is protecting myself, for my safety and that of my children,” says Yuyee, who has reached an agreement through which Frank Cuesta will have to pay her 250,000 euros in four instalments.

The herpetologist, unhappy with this decision, decided to reveal the controversy on social media, which is why Yuyee and her current partner, Chris Korn, have received countless threats in recent weeks.

Asked if her ex-husband had anything to do with these attacks, the actress responded to El Mundo: “I don’t know what he did or why he did it. What I do know is that I have to set limits and protect my life as best I can, and also protect everyone I love. I’m having a hard time leading a normal life and I feel very threatened by all this.”

Faced with this uncomfortable situation, Yuyee has decided to reveal the hidden truth of her marriage with the Spaniard: “For 22 years, I never felt truly loved and his lies were constant. I felt smaller and smaller. So misunderstood that my true self faded away. I wasn’t happy and now I just want to free myself from all that control. I ask people to have compassion.”

According to the actress herself, their relationship was complicated: “As a couple, everything was difficult because of the constant lies and not feeling loved or important. As a father, I think he tried to do his best in many ways, but the complications of our relationship made it difficult for us to function as a united family.”
