The President of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Stefanos Kasselakis visited on the evening of Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the Volunteer Coordination Center of the humanitarian volunteer organization “Humanity Greece” in Metaxourgeio.
Stefanos Kasselakis was given a tour of the facilities, but did not limit himself to talking to the people of the organization and the volunteers he met about the work they are doing. He himself provided voluntary work in the Center’s kitchen, as he attaches particular importance to the values of social solidarity and volunteering. He put on the volunteer’s apron and helped with Nasos Papargyropoulos in the preparation of meals.
“Humanity Greece” has a multi-faceted solidarity project on a permanent basis, but also in emergency situations, ensuring fresh food for the teams operating on fire fronts within Attica, while also assisting the fire victims of NE Attica.
