Adrián Marcelo has been one of the most controversial participants of the second season of La casa de los famosos México. Initially, his entry into the reality show was received with enthusiasm due to his irreverent attitude, which quickly won him the sympathy of the public.

It was speculated that the YouTuber and psychologist would be one of the first to be expelled, leaving the house on August 11, the date on which all the participants were nominated for conspiracy.

A determining factor in his permanence on the show could be a contract that, according to Rubalcava, obliges the production to keep him on the reality show until the final. Adrián Marcelo could even win due to one of the statutes included in said contract.

Rubalcava said on his YouTube channel that after Wendy Guevara’s success in the first season of the show, it was decided to invite several influencers for the second, including Adrián Marcelo.

According to Rubalcava, the contract negotiation for Adrián Marcelo is the highest of all the seasons of ‘La casa de los famosos’. It was mentioned that while the previous participant, Sergio Mayer, earned around 200 thousand pesos a week, Adrián Marcelo receives a considerably higher sum.

“Adrián Marcelo’s negotiation is the highest salary in ‘La casa de los famosos’ (…) he is the one who earns the most weekly in the previous house and this one, if before Mayer earned almost 200 thousand, it is much more than what Adrián Marcelo asks for,” said the journalist.

In addition, Adrián Marcerlo reportedly stated that he earns more than a million pesos from his YouTube channel, so the Televisa reality show offer must have been sufficiently attractive for him.

“In the negotiation, he also came out as the winner and, if he did, he would be given a television program.”

The signed agreement also included that, upon leaving the program, Adrián Marcelo would receive his own television show, something that the production had hoped would be well received by its audience.
