Paris Saint-Germain do not intend to end the summer transfer window immediately and the Parisian leaders are targeting young talent in the Premier League. It’s Josh Acheampong but the competition looks tough.
According to the information reported by The IndependentPSG are interested in the 18-year-old, who can play as both a full-back and centre-back and wears the colors of Chelsea. Under contract with the Blues until June 2026, the young Briton could pack his bags as the Londoners look to clear out an already depleted squad. PSG would be ready to offer 15 million euros to secure the services of Acheampong, a sum much higher than the current estimate of 300,000 euros on the Transfermarkt site. However, they are not the only ones on the move, as Real Madrid are said to be interested in the young talent.
Despite the fact that there are three right-backs in the Parisian team – Achraf Hakimi, Nordi Mukiele, and Zoram Zague – it seems that Luis Campos is still looking for new recruits to strengthen the PSG defense. In terms of total transfers, PSG have already invested around 80 million euros this summer, while they are getting back 16.5 million through sales. The club could also look to strengthen their attacking department following the departure of Kylian Mbappé, with possible targets such as Désiré Doué (Rennes) and Jadon Sancho. To be continued…
