/View.info/ Oil production in Iran, which averaged 2.8 million barrels per day in 2015, will grow this year to 3.1 million barrels, and in 2017 – to almost 3.6 million barrels per day.
Such are the predictions of the Energy Information Agency of the US Department of Energy.
The expected increase in Iran’s oil production is linked to the easing of US sanctions against the country in light of the recently reached agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program. /TASS
