When humans and animals swap roles with IKEA

If you were asked who the real owner of your home is: would it be you? Or your pet? For some, the answer is very clear. For others, it might be worth thinking about… And to refer to this situation with humor, IKEA Al-Futtaim unveils the campaign « Time to Take What’s Theirs » to put its UTSÅDD range in the spotlight. The Swedish giant is accompanied by the Memac Ogilvy agency for the occasion!

IKEA : Time to Take What’s Theirs

Let’s face it: our pets often tend to take up residence in our seats. Whether in our bed, on our armchairs or on our sofa and sometimes even on our dining table, they are masters in the art of attracting our attention. What if we swapped places with them?

With his campaign Time to Take What’s Theirs (literally, “It’s time to take what’s theirs”), IKEA Al-Futtaim is turning the tables. This time, it’s humans who are squatting in their pets’ belongings to change the situation. From their beds to their bowls, they too will have a hard time getting back what belongs to them… At the heart of this campaign? The UTSÅDD range launched by the Swedish giant last May!

A campaign that is out of the ordinary

With the Memac Ogilvy agency, IKEA Al-Futtaim unveils a hilarious campaign that is completely out of the ordinary. While campaigns dedicated to pets almost systematically show our four-legged friends testing accessories, this time, it is humans who are testing them for them. Cats and dogs are not far away, but display an almost offended look at having their comfortable accessories from the new range IKEA. So who owns the house now?
