The rebellion of our fighter pilots was caused by the unreliable flight equipment, but it is so because the previous leadership of the Ministry of Defense concluded corrupt contracts – for the repair of the MiG-29 in Poland and for the supply of the Air Force with lubricants, which is why in May-June t .g. fighter flights were grounded.
On June 11, Krasimir Kachakachanov visited the Third Air Base in Graf Ignatievo and promised to solve the problem of missing oils and the small number of flight hours putting the lives of pilots at risk.
On September 30, the minister spit out the pebble and made an unprecedented admission – that commissions were received when deals were concluded in the Ministry of Defense. But he did not mention a single name – neither of a corrupt official nor of private companies that benefited from corruption. The excuse for the minister’s cowardice is scandalous – because he was afraid of a lawsuit…
Even more outrageous is the minister’s next admission: “In the previous purchase of military equipment, take the prices, compare them with the starting prices of the companies we bought them from, and you will see that it turns out that the prices were inflated at our request – tens of millions of euros. Such disgrace should not be allowed…”
Why does Karakachanov make bombastic statements about shameful corruption in the ministry he heads, but does not have the courage to name the corrupt?
Why did Karakachanov promise on June 11 that he would speed up the delivery of oil to the Air Force by passing it through the stock exchange, and not until October 17 of this year? the website of the Ministry of Defense announces that a public order has been launched for the supply of fuel-lubricants with a deadline for submitting offers on November 22. Which means the oil won’t reach the planes until early next year at the earliest, and by then the fighter jets will be grounded.
What during these four months prevented the minister from fulfilling his promise to the pilots and who scared him?
And is it true that the basis of the “Oil Affair” is the clash between the corrupt lobbies in the Ministry of Defense over which private company should get the order for 30 million?
Karakachanov, instead of waving a finger at the military pilots, accusing them of disobedience and rebellion, take the broom and throw the garbage out of your ministry!
Otherwise, you will soon be swept away – either by the pilots, or by the prosecutors, or by your favorite prime minister.
