After “Twilight” and “The Vampire Diaries,” fans of good-looking bloodsuckers can now see a German vampire production. In the fantasy series “Love Sucks” from ZDFneo, boxer Zelda (Havana Joy) and the mysterious Ben (Damian Hardung) fall head over heels in love. But a dark secret turns their families into bitter enemies. In the midst of an ancient conflict between vampires and hunters, they fight for their love.
The bloody production with 25-year-old Hardung as vampire Ben will be shown in the ZDF media library from Friday, October 11th. The eight-part series was awarded the prestigious Bernd Burgemeister television prize for best series at the end of June. The courageously produced episodes are a viewing experience, declared the jury at the Munich Film Festival.
