ⓒ KBS news-turned-broadcaster Do Kyung-wan admitted his struggle with acute osteomyelitis.
Do Kyung-wan opened up on Channel A’s talk show ‘Best Friends Documentary Table for 4’ which aired on the 12th, saying, “I went to the orthopedic surgeon last year because something was growing under my branch, and they told me I needed it. surgery.”
He asked the doctor if he could go home after surgery. However, the hospital replied that he had to be hospitalized. When I went to change the dressing a week after the surgery, I saw a lump of pus on my finger.
Finally, I was transferred to a general hospital. This is because the bones were infected with tuberculosis bacteria.
Do Gyeong-wan said, “I studied finger bone tissue. “I had surgery five times,” he said. “They said it was a very rare and non-deadly bacteria. I had to take three intravenous injections a day. “I said I had to see my children, so I turned to medicine and I was discharged,” he said. But, when I took the medicine, the side effects of the antibiotic were bad. Tears, urine, and stool turned red, and my kidney function worsened,” he explained.
My nails could have stopped growing, but luckily they started growing. Do Kyung-wan said, “It’s not pretty, but I’m grateful.”
