The footballer posted a video on his social media in which he showed himself consuming “laughing gas.”
Yves Bissouma, player of the Tottenham of the Premier League, posted a video on his social networks consuming the hippie drug crack or “laughing gas” during a party in London.
The 27-year-old Ivorian midfielder uploaded the images to his Snapchat account. According to the English press, the images took place after the last preseason match against Bayern Munich.
In the video, Bissouma is seen consuming nitrous oxide in a chauffeur-driven limousine transporting him and his friends.
After the images went viral, the footballer published a statement that read: “I want to apologize for these videos. “This was a serious lapse in judgment.”
“I understand the seriousness of this and the health risks involved, and I also I take my responsibility very seriously as a footballer and a role model,” he stressed.
Possession of laughing gas for drugs has been illegal in Britain since last year, so the footballer could face criminal charges.

Nitrous oxide, also known as hippy crack o laughing gascomes in containers that are used to fill custodywhich are used to inhale the illegal gas.
