/ world today news/ The BSP MP’s film reveals how effective the fence is along the Bulgarian-Turkish border
The chairman of the GERB parliamentary group Tsvetan Tsvetanov and the deputy prime minister Valery Simeonov were booed after the premiere of Elena Yoncheva’s film “The Border” at the NDK.
The BSP MP’s film reveals how effective the fence is along the Bulgarian-Turkish border. It showed footage of refugees managing to jump over the fence with a ladder. It is also clear from the film that the sensor devices and cameras that are supposed to prevent illegal crossing of our border are not working.
Tsvetanov and Simeonov were also among the audience at the film’s premiere in Hall 42 of the National Palace of Culture – they honored Yoncheva’s invitation to watch the film.
Tsvetanov promised to tell Prime Minister Boyko Borisov what he saw. He added that he sees no problem with all media broadcasting the footage shown in Elena Yoncheva’s film. Tsvetanov used the occasion to call on BSP leader Ninova to support changes in the Constitution to abolish the statute of limitations for crimes in privatization.
