In the guitar category, Madrid’s Joni Jiménez secured the ‘Bordón Minero,’ outperforming Marcos de Silvia. Previously known for accompanying vocalists, Jiménez is now pursuing a personal guitar project and will soon perform at the Bienal Flamenca de Sevilla.

José ‘El Marqués’ received the first prize for Flamenco Instrumentalist with his cello, with Lorenzo Moya on the piano earning second place. El Marqués aims to highlight the solo potential of the cello in flamenco, a direction he plans to explore further in his upcoming album. “It’s an incredible feeling because I’m making a flamenco cello album, and it’s going to be great for me to get people to know it,” said the award winner.
