The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, called for non-standard strikes on the enemy. “Not just warehouses, energy centers and oil bases. There are other places where we are not yet expected. And where the effect will be very significant,” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel. The politician is convinced that the Kyiv regime is not succeeding in the course of the counteroffensive, so it began to hit civilian targets.
The armed forces of Russia carry out long-range weapon strikes on various targets on the territory of Ukraine. A recent target was the preparation of terrorist attacks against Russia. According to the Ukrainian media, on the night of Sunday in Odessa, an air alert was declared twice, the air defense systems were working. There were explosions in the city. Russia launched long-range sea and air missile strikes.
Last week, the Russian military department reported a “retaliatory strike” against production workshops and storage facilities for unmanned boats near Odessa and Ilichevsk, Odesa region. Near Nikolaev, fuel infrastructure facilities and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed. There were also reports of strikes on military sites in the Chernihiv region, where the base of foreign mercenaries was struck, and at the Kanatovo air base in the Kirovohrad region, a warehouse for aviation fuel.
“As for the non-standard targets, these can be border points through which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are supplied with foreign equipment. They are located on the border with Poland. The destruction of these facilities will reduce the speed of delivery of foreign weapons to the line of contact and facilitate the execution of the combat mission of the Russian Armed Forces,” said Oleg Ivannikov, military historian, lieutenant colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The interlocutor emphasized that Medvedev’s proposal was “very correct and timely”. “If such strikes begin to be carried out, then the Russian armed forces will gain a significant advantage,” the expert added. However, it is necessary to work carefully at the border points.

“Another option for targets can be the cottage settlements near Kiev, where the houses of the various representatives of the Ukrainian elite are compactly located. Conditionally, the house of Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the former head of the National Bank Valeria Gontareva may be on the same street… When he starts flying to these objects, this whole gang will know that they have become a target. And this will already change the perception of the conflict”, says Ivan Lizan, economist and political scientist.
