Alfonso Obregón Inclán, a Mexican actor famous for lending his voice to characters such as Shrek, Lumpy Space Princess and Bugs Bunny, was arrested at Mexico City International Airport for alleged sexual abuse.
The news was confirmed by journalist Carlos Jiménez (C4 Jiménez) through X:
“The voice of SHREK and BUGS BUNNY arrested… for sexual abuse. Alfonso Obregón is the voice of characters such as Shrek the ogre, the lucky rabbit, the zebra from Madagascar… Agents from @PDI_FGJCDMX arrested him at @AICM_mx @FiscaliaCDMX accuses him of abusing a student. He is going to prison.”

No further information is known about the case at this time. It is worth mentioning that Alfonso Obregón may possibly play the famous green ogre in the new film of the franchise that is in the production process.
The famous Mexican actor and dubbing director was born on July 29, 1960. He studied acting at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and worked as an artistic director at Audiomaster 3000, a subsidiary of Televisa, according to the Doblaje Wiki website.

Before entering the world of dubbing, he worked as a stage director on the radio version of the children’s programme Planeta Funbec.
Throughout his artistic career he has lent his voice to interpret, in Spanish, iconic animated characters, such as: Shrek, Marty from Madagascar, Ren Höek in Ren and Stimpy, Bob in ReBoot, Kakashi Hatake in Naruto, Fox Mulder in The Secret Files Xo Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes (1994 to 2003).
That’s not all, he has also played some specific actors, such as Mike Myers (Austin Powers in Goldmember), Chris Tucker (Rush Hour 2), Woody Allen (Manhattan or The Last Night of Boris Grushenko) and Chris Rock (Dr. Dolittle) and Robert Downey Jr. (The Company of Fear).
