Alfonso Obregón, the voice of Shrek, was arrested by Mexican authorities for alleged abuse of a student.
This morning, agents of the Investigative Police of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City arrested the voice actor at the capital’s airport, according to Carlos Jiménez, a reporter specializing in crime reports.
“He is going to prison,” the journalist wrote on his social media account X.
Following the news, a user on the same network uploaded an audio recording allegedly from Obregón, in which he asked her to send him a full-body photo. The girl had contacted him when she found out that he was looking for an assistant.
After receiving the image, Obregón did not contact her again. “At the time, it seemed a bit strange to me,” the girl wrote.
