BTS member Suga. News
BTS member Suga (real name Min Yoon-gi, 31), who is suspected of riding an electric scooter while drinking, is to be investigated by the police soon. On the 11th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced, “We plan to contact the police station to investigate the situation and the amount of Suga’s drinking.”
According to the police, because Suga was drunk on the day of his arrest (the 6th), the police could not investigate properly and sent him home. At the time, the police did not recognize that Suga was a member of BTS, and they did not take the electric scooter that Suga sent away. It is understood that the police are currently setting a schedule for further investigation, including writing a report. The exact date is reportedly being coordinated by Suga’s side and has yet to be decided.
The police are taking administrative steps to revoke Suga’s license.
As a result of a breathalyzer test conducted immediately after the police found Suga and brought him to the police station, his blood alcohol level was 0.227%. If the license cancellation rate of 0.08% is exceeded, the license will be revoked, and the license will not normally be recovered for a year. If your blood alcohol level is 0.2% or higher, you could be imprisoned for between 2 and 5 years or earn a fine of 10 to 20 million.
At around 11:14pm on the 6th, the police were dispatched after receiving a report that a man was lying down on the pavement near the entrance to an apartment in Hannam-dong, Yongsan- to, Seoul, smells of alcohol.
The police handed the man over to a nearby district station and confirmed that he was Suga during a breathalyzer test. On the 7th, Suga told the fan community, “I fell on my own while parking the electric skateboard in front of my house, and as a result of a breathalyzer test, my license was revoked – called and fined. “I feel very heavy and sad,” he said, explaining the situation at the time.
