As a lawyer in our Frankfurt office, I advise clients on all issues relating to information and data protection law.
I support clients in complying with data protection requirements as well as in implementing projects in the technology sector. As part of our Commercial practice group, I also advise clients in the areas of digital media, IT security and telecommunications law.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as a consultant in the policy department of the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Before that, I specialized in data protection law as part of my LL.M. studies and my doctoral thesis in Great Britain. During my legal traineeship in Frankfurt am Main and London, I worked in the technology, media and telecommunications sector at another renowned international law firm.
I am the author of various publications on data protection and media law, most recently in the new edition of the “Auernhammer” data protection commentary. Due to my research and teaching activities, I am a member of the Society of Legal Scholars in Great Britain.
