FC Barcelona have made their first big signing of the summer, with Dani Olmo set to take on the Blaugrana colours after signing his contract at the Ciutat Esportiva.
The deal, which sees the footballer join RB Leipzig for a reported €62m (with a potential €7m in additional bonuses), is also expected to see him stay with the Spanish giants until 2030.

The footballer is set to wear the number 20 shirt at Barcelona, previously worn by club legend Deco and former club captain Sergi Roberto.
Deco, who now serves as sporting director of FC Barcelona, played a crucial role in Olmo’s arrival at Spotify Camp Nou.
The Spanish midfielder will be hoping to replicate the Portuguese’s impact with the Blaugrana, which saw them win the Champions League in 2006.
The 26-year-old Spain international has spent the last four years at RB Leipzig, where he has made a name for himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe.
He also shone for Spain at Euro 2024, winning a share of the Golden Boot as La Roja claimed their fourth European crown.

Before joining Barcelona, Olmo said goodbye to RB Leipzig, the club where he enjoyed huge success after joining from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Spanish playmaker expressed his gratitude to the German team in a heartfelt message on social media, thanking the club and its fans for their support during his time in the Bundesliga.
During his time at Leipzig, Olmo scored 29 goals and provided 34 assists in 148 games, helping the club win back-to-back DFB Pokal titles in 2022 and 2023.
