As part of Cinétoile, the open-air cinema under the stars, a film screening is being jointly organised by the Astrolabe and the town of Cambes on Saturday 24 August. It will be held on the sports field behind the school. From 7.30pm, the evening will begin, for those who wish, with a picnic from the sack set up in the communal orchard of Mas del Sol, with a sale of crepes and desserts. At nightfall, around 9.30pm, the film “Chœur de Rockers” will be screened. It is a film directed by Ida Techer and Luc Bricault with Mathilde Seigner and Bernard Le Coq in the main roles. Alex, a singer whose career is struggling to take off, accepts a strange job: getting a choir of retirees to sing nursery rhymes. She discovers a group of unmanageable seniors who only dream of one thing: singing rock! Alex’s mission will turn out to be much more complicated than expected… 1 hour 30 minutes of funny, invigorating and emotional comedy, based on a true story. Free entry. In case of bad weather, retreat to the rural center hall. Information on 05 65 34 24 78 and on astrolabe-grand-figeac.fr.
