Corona: explosive protocols. Kubicki demands Lauterbach’s resignation | Politics

It is a political thriller spanning thousands of pages. The dispute over secret Corona protocols from the Robert Koch Institute (2,515 pages) is now becoming personal.

Vice President of the Bundestag and FDP Vice Wolfgang Kubicki (72) attacks Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (61, SPD), accusing him of serious Corona misconduct. Deceiving the population, exploiting political power, untruths! His tough demand: Lauterbach must resign!

The vice-chairman of a government party is demanding the resignation of a governing minister. The unprecedented escalation in the ongoing traffic light dispute!

Specifically, he accuses him of having exceeded the “limits of truth” “in order to achieve a personal political goal”.

Did Lauterbach really cover up, conceal, or lie?

BILD documents the activities of Health Minister Jens Spahn (44, CDU) and his successor Lauterbach during the Corona pandemic.

The online magazine “multipolar” had previously sued for the disclosure of the RKI protocols – and was successful. Initially, the protocols were only available in a redacted version, but now the protocols are available unredacted.

Chapter 1: School closures

▶︎ December 4, 2020: Experts in the RKI crisis team assert: Schools are NOT drivers of corona. And yet the government led by Health Minister Spahn closed them down a few days later! Against the advice of the experts. They said: “Cases in schools do not significantly drive the spread of infections.”

Chapter 2: Vaccinations

▶︎ March 5, 2021: The experts are discussing whether an exception to the Corona restrictions should be made for vaccinated and recovered people. The result: “technically unjustifiable”. The vaccination certificate should not be the basis for “privileges”.

Nevertheless, after six months, there are relaxations for those who have recovered, been tested – and vaccinated (3G rule). Unvaccinated people have been excluded from large parts of public life.

Chapter 3: Masks

▶︎ October 30, 2020: The RKI experts say: There is no technical need “for the use of FFP2 masks outside of occupational safety; this could also be made available to the public.”

Fact: Berlin, Baden-Württemberg and other states previously introduced an FFP2 requirement for everyone. During the pandemic, there were penalties for citizens who did not wear a mandatory FFP2 mask, for example on the train. Procuring the masks cost the federal government billions.

Chapter 4: Corona all-clear

Wolfgang Kubicki’s main accusation against Health Minister Karl Lauterbach: The minister had given the RKI instructions for months not to give the population the all-clear on Corona, even though the RKI scientists wanted to do so.

▶︎ Kubicki quotes from the minutes (February 9, 2022): “The timing of publication depends on the approval of the Federal Ministry of Health (…). A downgrade beforehand would possibly be interpreted as a de-escalation signal and therefore not politically desirable.”

Karl Lauterbach did not want to comment on BILD’s request.
