The police received a report of the accident at 4:11 on Saturday night.
The motorcycle had gone off the road at Springarbekksætre, about two kilometers south-west of Vålåsjøen on Dovrefjell.
“The relationship was discovered by chance by passers-by on the E6. The motorcycle driver was a little cold. He appears to be moderately/severely injured,” the police in Innlandet wrote in a message to the media.
The driver of the motorcycle was flown to St. John’s Hospital. Olav’s in Trondheim in an air ambulance, where he arrived at 6 o’clock.
The police have not questioned the driver yet. The man is a man in his 40s from Trøndelag.
