A plane with 62 people on board crashed on the outskirts of the city of Viñedo, in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The twin-engine ATR-72 of the Voepass company was flying from Cascavel in the state of Paraná to Guarulos Airport in Sao Paulo.
According to a Voepass announcement, 58 travelers and 4 crew members were on board the fatal aircraft.

The passengers are dead
According to the local Authorities, no one was rescued and all the passengers are considered dead.
Officials said there were no survivors and that only one house in a local housing complex was damaged, and no residents were injured.
“I have to be the bearer of really bad newsPresident Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said at an event shortly after the crash.
He asked for a minute’s silence for the victims of the accident.
In the images from the scene of the air tragedy, thick smoke can be seen rising into the sky from the place where the aircraft crashed.
