A commercial plane with 62 people crashed in Vinhedo, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Governor of Sao Paulo, Brazilhas created an emergency cabinet to respond to the deadly plane crash.
“This emergency cabinet will be made up of the federal government, state governments and the Brazilian Air Force,” said Governor Tarcisio de Freitas, as reported by CNN, Saturday (10/8/2024).
Rescue Team deployed
Several agencies were at the crash site to assist with rescue efforts. The Secretariat of Civil Defense and Public Security was deployed in the Capela area where the plane crashed. The fire department also sent seven teams to the scene of the accident.

Scientific-Technical Police Investigators (SPTC) and Civil and Military Police were also deployed to rescue the victims. A team from the Institute of Medical Law (IML) and those responsible for collecting the bodies were also dispatched to the scene.
The Sao Paulo government said local hospitals were on hand to receive patients, the statement said.
No residents are going to be victims
This plane crashed into a resident’s house when it crashed. The government ensures that residents or local residents do not suffer. This was announced by the Director of Communications of the City of Valinhos Ana Candida Briski.
He said the death toll was still 62, who were people on board the plane.
