Venezuelan Luis Arráez hit an RBI double that capped a three-run attack in the ninth inning, and the Padres took the series in a sweep.
San Diego has won five straight and 14 of 16 to move within 2 1/2 games of the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers.
