/ world today news/ BSP will not reduce the intensity of its pressure on the rulers and will play the role of an incriminating magnifying glass. This is what Parvan Simeonov, the director of Gallup International, said in an interview for the weekly overview program “Metronome” on radio “Focus” on the occasion of the vote of no confidence initiated by the opposition.
He warned that we are going to see active political positioning in the next few months. According to him, the “double agent” in the person of DPS, being a balancer between the rulers and the left, becomes a key to power.
“A classic. That’s what DPS does. Sometimes, when the DPS plays for the BSP, it actually plays for the GERB, because it will give the rulers the opportunity to say: “Here, do you want the DPS to return to power,” Simeonov gave an example.
“DPS does not mind being demonized, it is important for the party to be fearsome and powerful in its niche. Otherwise, he can easily be demonized for the purpose of advertising for the supposed opponent,” explained the political scientist.
Parvan Simeonov also said that the topic of the vote of no confidence was not chosen by BSP by chance. According to him, the left is trying to strike where it believes GERB is most vulnerable, while at the same time trying to “cleanse” itself of corruption in its ranks. No-confidence votes in themselves are not intended to topple governments , but to create conditions for active debate, added Simeonov.
He stated that in many cases such a debate has a mobilizing effect on the rulers and it is possible that GERB will even strengthen its positions after the vote.
