Natalia Kaczmarek won her semi-final race and advanced to Friday’s 400m final at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Natalia Kaczmarek won the third semi-final with a time of 49.45 seconds.

This was the third best result of all semi-final races.

The fastest at this stage of the competition was the 2019 world champion from Doha, Salwa Eid Naser from Bahrain – 49.08, which is her best result this season.

Marileidy Paulino, the current world champion, won the second series with a time of 49.21, but while clearly leading, she slowed down significantly in the last 30-40 meters.

Jamaican Nickisha Pryce, who came to Paris with the best result in the world this year, came fourth in this race but did not advance to the final.

The final is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m.
