This is what the organizer says:
»Maximilian Lorenz is pretty funny, considering how stupid he is.« Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre
One year, two months, five days, ten hours and twenty-three minutes since Anna.
Tim (30, less than 1 km away) is still wallowing in self-pity and is becoming a cynical observer of the “hip” Munich city life.
Lost between ergonomically optimized desks in faceless open-plan offices and interchangeable beauties at rooftop parties, Tim is disillusioned and searching for a spark of meaning. With the help of his friends Vincenzo and Medina, he delves into the absurdities of modern dating, tests the concept of ‘love at first sight’ with excessive swiping and asserts himself in trivial small talk duels – until he falls in love and time freezes.
Frostbeben tells of the big and small shocks of life and of the question: When is it worth waking up from your own film and riding crying through late summer trendy districts on an e-scooter?
Maximilian Lorenz, born in Munich in 1992, is an author, stand-up comedian and content creator. After years of living in the USA, Canada and England, he can now be found mainly in the cafés of Berlin Neukölln, enjoying the last years before the final gentrification.
“Frostbeben” is his debut and will be published on September 20, 2024 by Schillo Verlag.
