And six! Less than a month after its last blood drive, the Mirail mosque Toulouse is organizing a new collection, still in collaboration with the French Blood Establishment (EFS) Occitanie, this Friday, August 9.
As usual, it will take place after the prayer of jumu’acollective prayer on Friday, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for women, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for men.

For the rest, nothing changes: the collection will be held at the mosque, Place Edouard-Bouillères in Toulouse.
Note that during the collection on July 12, 68 faithful gave their blood.
We will remind you, for once, with the Mirail mosque that it is important to drink enough before and after giving blood, and that coming on an empty stomach is not recommended. The blood drive is not open to minors or people over seventy years old. If you weigh less than fifty kilos or if you have had a transfusion, you will also not be able to give blood.
There are always four contraindications:
- have travelled in the last four months to sub-Saharan Africa, South America or Asia,
- have had a tattoo or piercing, also in the last four months,
- have been vaccinated in the last thirty days,
- have taken antibiotics or had a tooth pulled in the week before donating.
Finally, please consider writing to us if your mosque is also organizing a blood drive so that we can pass on the information.
