The fire brigade was called this evening to a fire in a residence in Hoornsediep in Stad.
On the site it was a burning planter hanging outside on the balcony, and the neighbor had already extinguished the fire. As the planter was still smoldering, the fire brigade went up with an aerial platform to check the situation.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire.
