Day 12 of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris brings with it 21 decisions. Medals are being handed out in martial arts in particular: in wrestling, taekwondo and boxing, decisions are being made about gold, silver and bronze. While the boxing matches in particular do not take place until late in the evening, things get exciting early in the morning when the mixed relay races start.
The next medal races are also coming up in sailing. The atmosphere will be particularly great in the packed Velodrome Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines when the track cyclists compete for gold in the team pursuit.

The first medals will be handed out early this morning: the mixed relay race will start. Six days after the 20 km individual competitions, the competition will celebrate its premiere at the Olympic Games: it will replace the 50 km race. 25 teams consisting of one man and one woman will set out to cover the marathon distance of 42.195 km, with the race divided into four stages of around 10 km each (man, woman, man, woman).
Things will be spectacular at midday when the women take to the heights in speed climbing. This is followed by decisions in sailing, weightlifting and skateboarding, where the men are in the park on the hunt for the perfect show. The next athletics evening will start at 7 p.m., including the awarding of medals in the women’s pole vault and the men’s discus throw.
