NEW YORK (Agefi-Dow Jones) – The price of a barrel of crude oil ended higher on Wednesday in New York, supported by the announcement of a fall in American stocks last week. The market also benefited from the return of risk appetite and easing fears of a recession in the United States, while investors are monitoring tensions between Israel and Iran. The September contract for a barrel of WTI gained 2.8% on the Nymex, to $75.23.
