Arsenal oppose Bayer Leverkusen in pre-season competitions. The London Cannon won decisively with a score of 4-1.
Arsenal vs Leverkusen took place at Emirates Stadium, Thursday (8/8/2024) early morning WIB. Oleksandr Zinchenko gave the Gunners a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute with a shot from the side.
A minute later, Arsenal increased the score to 2-0. Leandro Trossard broke Matej Kovar’s goal with a shot in the penalty box.

Arsenal looked very dominant in front of the 2023/2024 Bundesliga champions. Mikel Arteta’s troops made the visitors appear more defensive.
The score changed to 3-0 for Arsenal in the 38th minute through Gabriel Jesus. This score lasted until half time.
Arteta made four changes in the second half by withdrawing Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko and William Lintasa. Bukayo Saka, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jakub Kiwior came on as substitutes.
Arsenal increased the score to 4-0 in the 65th minute. Kai Havertz scored after Leverkusen’s players failed to stop Saka’s pass.
Leverkusen tried hard to dominate the ball. Short passes were made, but were often broken up when they entered Arsenal’s territory.
Leverkusen finally scored a goal in the 75th minute. A quick counter-attack was completed by Adam Hlozek, who reduced the score to 1-4.
There were no further goals in the remaining period. Arsenal also won 4-1.
