With a mere 90 days remaining until Election Day, there has been an influx of firmly cast accusations against Walz as critics aim to reshape public perception of him.
On Tuesday, Walz was depicted as a “radical leftist” somewhat distanced from the realities of American life. Critics have taken aim at his record during a contentious period of protests, asserting that he allowed unrest to fester unchecked in Minnesota. Additionally, unfounded claims about his honeymoon in China have emerged, branding him as being unduly influenced.
Fox News Amplifies the Criticism
Leading the charge, Fox News highlighted their disdain for Walz through multiple segments dedicated to scrutinizing his character and leadership. Prominent host Sean Hannity pronounced that Harris’s selection of Walz emblemized the height of Democratic extremism, labeling him the “most far-left governor in the United States,” and went on to question his demeanor and character.
Meanwhile, other commentators chose to inject a different tone into the conversation, audaciously claiming that Harris favored Walz over Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro because of an anti-Semitic bias, a contention that lacked any substantive evidence.
