Human Powered Health marks a new milestone by collaborating with fashion house Maisie Wilen for the creation of its jersey for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2024.
A new jersey for Audrey Cordon Ragot on the 2024 Tour de France Femmes
This collaboration, a first for the professional peloton, combines the bold designs of Maisie Wilen with the technical equipment of Pactimo, the training outfitter and the bike brand Factor.
The new Human Powered Health team jersey stands out for its futuristic aesthetic and commitment to celebrating female athletic performance.
Team member Audrey Cordon-Ragot underlines this ambition by affirming the importance of “breaking the rules”.
Maisie Schloss, founder and creative director of Maisie Wilen, expresses her pride in seeing her designs worn by top athletes at such a high-profile event. “I immediately jumped at the opportunity to bring our unique aesthetic to one of the biggest women’s sporting events in the world,” she says. “To have such inspiring and strong women represent Maisie Wilen at the Tour de France is an honor.”
Founded in 2019 in Los Angeles, Maisie Wilen is known for its bold designs and unique approach to fashion. Present at New York Fashion Week, the brand has already collaborated with giants such as Mattel and Yahoo, and its designs have been worn by celebrities such as Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
The Pactimo kit and Factor bikes used by the team are the result of months of collaboration between Human Powered Health and Maisie Wilen. The design incorporates a mix of white, orange, purple and navy, forming a unique fish-scale-like pattern.
This pattern is intended to be a second skin for the team’s seven riders, offering them a combination of style and performance on the roads of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
Complementing the race kit, Smith helmets have been developed with a team-specific colorway. Additionally, Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT and ROAM GPS computers will feature custom designs.
This set of equipment will be deployed during the Grand Départ in Rotterdam on Monday 12 August and throughout France over seven days and 1,000 kilometres of racing, providing maximum visibility for this innovative partnership between fashion and cycling.
With this new initiative, Human Powered Health continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence and innovation in cycling equipment, while highlighting the achievements of female athletes.
