New threats by Nasrallah against Israel
Earlier, the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, emphasized in his speech, at the memorial service for the supreme military commander of the Lebanese armed organization, Fouad Soukr, that “Israel is right to fear an attack from Iran and the ‘axis of resistance'” ».
“Hezbollah’s response to Israeli attacks will be strong and effective,” he said.
According to Nasrallah, Israel is no longer the invincible force that defeated the largest Arab armies in previous wars, as today it must rely on the support of the US, the UK, France and some Arab countries to defend itself against an expected Iranian attack.
According to the Times of Israel, Nasrallah also said that Israel is doing everything in its power to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state and argued that the slogan “from the river to the sea” reflects Israeli rather than Palestinian aspirations. .
He also condemned Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s recent statement that the starvation of two million Gazans could be “justified and moral”, while accusing Benjamin Netanyahu and his government of rejecting any hostage-ceasefire deal with Hamas.
It is recalled that before the start of his speech, IDF warplanes broke the sound barrier while flying over Beirut. Nasrallah said the IDF did it to scare those who had gathered to watch the memorial service, calling the move “petty”.
