Actor Tom Cruise and French bands Air and Phoenix are reportedly scheduled to perform at the Olympics’ closing ceremony. According to French newspaper “Le Parisien,” Cruise will take part in the symbolic handover of the Olympic flag from Paris to Los Angeles, where the next Summer Olympics will be held in 2028.
The American action star is said to be planning a stunt on the facade of the Stade de France and has already filmed a scene around the famous “Hollywood” sign in The Angels.
Air and Phoenix, two groups that have achieved success beyond France, are scheduled to perform at Sunday’s celebration. There is no official confirmation yet. The organizers have only announced that the show will explore a dystopian world where there are no more Olympic Games.
