Sevilla, Real Betis, Real Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol have all expressed an interest in signing Juanmi Latasa this summer, according to a report from AS.
Four of those teams – all but Rayo Vallecano – have shown strong interest in recent weeks, with Rayo currently considering signing him as well.
Real Madrid wants to sell but keeps 50% of his rights, as they have done for several players in the past.
According to the report, Valladolid are currently in the best position to sign Latasa as they have come close to accepting most of Real Madrid’s demands, and are offering the most money. There is no agreement yet, of course, but it is reported that they are leading the race.
Latasa – who is currently with his Real Madrid teammates in the US – enjoyed a season on loan at Getafe, where he started most games alongside former Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral, scoring five goals in all competitions. He is a striker at La Liga level who will certainly improve over time, so it is good that several clubs have shown interest in him.
