Swiss cities score points with Gen Z with vegan cuisine

Switzerland stands out particularly in the area of ​​vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Bern takes first place in the veggie hotspots with 106 vegan or vegetarian restaurants, followed by Zurich in second place with 101 restaurants. Third place goes to Porto in Portugal with 77 restaurants. In fourth place is another Swiss destination: Basel with 74 restaurants. Western Switzerland is also among the top ten veggie hotspots in Europe: Geneva is in tenth place with 55 vegan or vegetarian restaurants.

The Swiss nightlife is also impressive, as the index shows. Three Swiss destinations are represented among the top 10 techno strongholds in Europe: Geneva in 6th place, Bern in 8th place and Zurich in 10th place. (mm)
