When about two years ago, Documento revealed the first names of the Predator list, providing irrefutable evidence about the Greek Watergate, one of the blackest pages of recent Greek history, it was treated as a carrier of myths and slander.
And what did we not hear: from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from the then government representative Yannis Oikonomou, from first-class ministers, even from some who were victims of the parastatal sect of surveillance, even from colleagues (alas) who shadowed us in the background and sometimes they also discredited us in the spotlight (we were even shown as a tabloid lying with references to sex and insinuations of blackmail).
We have been told by liars that without any evidence we are responsible for the country’s political life having sunk so low. We have been told by mudslingers who publicize unsubstantiated claims in excess of fanciful narratives that we are obscuring rather than enlightening. Our response was to continue with even greater revelations.
Today Documento has been fully justified. The lists we revealed of those monitored by EYP and Predator have been fully confirmed by ADAE. Journalistic success is now indisputable.
However, the aftertaste it leaves is bittersweet. And it has nothing to do with the apology that didn’t come. You can’t be happy when the institutions in your country don’t work.
When you are ruled by persons inferior to the circumstances who swallow the shame of their attendance for reasons of… national security and simply change sides in the ministerial chairs. When in the leadership of the army “serve” persons who polish their gallons while the otakust amuses them by illegally recording their personal data. When one of the most basic pillars of democracy, Justice, is destroyed. Where you have a senior prosecutor who has been watched for almost two years bow his head and just lay the promotion suit. He should not move heaven and earth to find out why… national security was endangered by him.
And you have for the definitive end, the tombstone, and the highest prosecutorial authority of the country. Which subscribed to the cover-up under the hypocritical pretext of following the formulas.

The revelation of the wiretapping scandal has only just begun. The Documento outlines the Mitsotakis surveillance system, demonstrating how it was the tip of a large iceberg, at the base of which were business deals, privatizations and transactions.

The whole background of the Greek Watergate. We revealed how thousands of citizens were being monitored under the guise of national security. How the prime minister put the EYP under his control and how he prepared with legal procedures while at the same time placing in the EYP a prosecutor willing to legalize the surveillance.

The great cover-up of the Justice-tooled wiretapping had already begun. The then Supreme Court prosecutor Isidoros Dogiakos, instead of investigating the eavesdroppers, was looking for those who let the scandal leak. As for the surveillance of the journalist Thanasis Koukakis, they had left the file in the drawers for two months.

The scandal was already the first topic in the international media. Kyriakos Mitsotakis made a tragic appearance from the steps of the Parliament and as a prime minister of reduced perception he did not give any answer about the wiretapping, refusing to reveal who he was watching and why.

The scandal in the Institutions and Transparency Committee of the Parliament. Documento presents Mitsotakis’ defense strategy. The prime minister as the political head of the EYP can lift the secrecy to reveal the scandal. But he hides it so that everything remains in the dark.

Documento unravels the tangle and causes a political storm. Publishes the first list of the names of those watched by Predator: Antonis Samaras, Adonis Georgiadis, Michalis Chrysochoidis, Nikos Dendias are just some of the important names on the much-lauded list of party leaders, ministers, journalists, judges. And it goes on and on…

We publish the second part of the watch list. They had “plugged” the deputy leader of the EYP, close associates of the prime minister such as Gerapetritis and Schertsos, associates of the president of the Republic, and even friends of Marevas Grabosfki. We publish yet another proof of attendance.

We reveal the joint Predator and EYP surveillance center. We publish the first five victims of joint surveillance. And even that the company Intellexa, directly related to Predator, cooperates with the EYP with the blessings of Mitsotakis. In return, you watched people that Maximus wanted to control.

The single brain with evidence. We reveal the 14 who were monitored by both EYP and Predator. In the new list are also the names of the heads of the Armed Forces and GES. That is to say, the EYP in times of democracy monitored the leadership of the army for reasons of… national security

It seems that the EYP assessed first-class minister Kostis Hatzidakis as a serious terrorist. We reveal that he was monitored for more than a year, he was the target 5046c of the EYP, his conversations from channel manager to journalists have been recorded and commented on in newsletters.

The whole background of the crude attempt of the then Supreme Court prosecutor Isidoros Dogiakos to block ADAE’s investigation into Cosmote after the surveillance of the MP Giorgos Kirtsos and the journalist Tasos Telloglou was established. The two men were considered “dangerous for National Security”.

We also reveal the tracking code from the EYP of the then leader of GEETHA Kon. Florou. It was target 519c as it was dangerous for the national security of Mitsotakis. His monitoring combined with the monitoring of two writable equipments was aimed, sources of the newspaper claimed, and his choices in the equipments…

We reveal that Mr. Mitsotakis knew from June ’22 the content of the surveillance of the head of GEETHA. The summary reports of the general’s monitoring by the EYP had been forwarded to Maximou, who knew that the GEETHA leader was being monitored, for what reason, perhaps, for personal and financial issues.

The humiliation of the leader Konstantinos Floros. We reveal the content of the highly humiliating EYP report on the 519c target. In the report he is characterized as a super visionary, who operates with the support of a businessman, while it is pointed out that for the purchase of the house in Papagou he also paid 600,000 euros “in the dark”.

We reveal how the surveillance of American citizen, former Facebook executive, Artemidos Sifford, was ascertained – and – by the EYP. In a previous issue we had revealed her surveillance by the Predator. All the requests submitted for legal linking of persons were accepted by the anti-terrorist prosecutor.

Exactly one year after our first revelations came the absolute confirmation of our journalistic investigation. 92 of the people on Documento’s Predator list were officially notified by the Data Protection Authority that they were under surveillance.
